Background and Objectives
„COLLAB” is an intensive joint course for students of tw universities: the Budapest Business School – University of Applied Sciences (BBS) and the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design (MOME). The aim of the course ‘Business Plan in a Week’ is to provide experience with the concepts of business development while working on real projects, and to experiment with the processes and mindsets that can lead to a successful business venture. The course was elaborated and is managed jointly by Budapest Business School’s Budapest LAB – Entrepreneurship Centre and MOME’s Institute for Theoretical Studies and Design Institute along with.
During this course participants work on their projects in groups consisting of students from different educational programmes of the two HEIs. The process is based on the design thinking and business model canvas methodologies. The course involves consultative teaching methods and experiential learning. There are not many examples of collaborative project work method in Hungary, therefore it provides a unique learning experience.
