A unique leading model in Europe regarding mobility, employability, career development and advising highly qualified individuals. A non-profit associative initiative promoted by the local government in collaboration with cutting-edge Basque private and public organisations and universities. Our aim is to implement a comprehensive, distinctive and differential strategy for identifying, attracting, retaining and engaging talent within the Business, Technology & Science Community. The essence of our business is to be an enabler between industry and academia. Thus, aware of the power of science, technology and innovation as drivers for competitiveness and economic growth, we provide, on the one side, the Be Basque Talent Network, the largest network of highly qualified professionals who are or want to be linked to our Country, regardless of their territorial origin. A platform that brings professionals working all over the world in contact with other professionals and companies to facilitate talent movement and build contacts and business relationships with all those who have had, have or want to have a relationship with the Basque Country. And, on the other hand, the Basque Observatory, a knowledge-based tool that analyses the Basque Labour Market focused on professionals. All this is fed by services such as: Be Basque Dual Career which guides the International professionals’ couples, concerning their labour & professional development in terms of Hiring, Entrepreneurship, Voluntarism; Be Basque Talent Conferences, events where Basque organisations in specific industries meet professionals working abroad. Both learn about the current and future socio-economic and scientific-technological situation of the region, discuss talent mobility matters, participate in thematic workshops and have personal conversations with Clusters, Companies and SMEs; Talentia Competences for Professionalism is for undergraduate students where they learn in an active way about professional opportunities and coaching sessions; Talentia Challenge, for graduate students who deal with a real challenge in an organisation in a multidisciplinary team; Career Development Center (CDC) a “backseat driver”, offering guidance, advice and information to reach out to industry, to guide professionals through the process of educational, career and personal discovery in preparing them for success in the global workforce.
